b&w christmas day

the black and white shooting continues! some people don't like it and tell me to switch my camera back to color; but they're just gonna have to wait a bit longer. christmas was a little different this year, with both my sisters being gone and married, so the rest of us hit the beach for a little stroll before the rain came back in and it was fantastic. merry christmas, dolls.

my black & white boat parade

i never really shoot in black and white. it's cute but i think it's slightly overdone and shortcut way to look artistic. that aside, i thought it would be fun to mix things up and shoot ONLY in black and white over the holidays. so far it's been fantastic.

i'll be home for christmas

ahhh. i love being home for the holidays. there is absolutely nothing better than family and LOTS of food. obviously i took a bazillion pictures but i wasn't too focused on it so only came out with a few that i absolutely loved. we cooked a ton, snuggled plenty, and i was even able to play with my neighbors a little. love them. they're adorable and i'm dying to do a shoot with them one day!

who doesn't love a little family gathering? i personally think they're the best and i always love the pictures that come out of them. maybe it's just that my family is filled with a bunch of characters, but we seem to always make the most ridiculous faces! never the less, i hate how long it is in between these family gatherings.

the third and forth of july

happy independence day, america! fourth of july has always been one of my favorite holidays. i guess i just can't get enough of the bbqs, pool parties, parades and fireworks! these are just a couple of my favorites from the festivities. so freakin' perfect.
